About this Event
Guitar Rhythm Fundamentals
Instructor: Caton Sollenberger
Date: Monday, October 19, 2026
Time: 6:30–8:00 p.m.
Location: Main Room
Cost: $35
Develop a stronger sense of time and groove through effective guitar-playing and practice techniques. Participants will explore subdivision, syncopation, accents, and feel.
Rather than introducing a large amount of new material, the workshop focuses on helping guitarists make the concepts they already know sound more natural, confident, and musical. The guiding principle is simple: feel over everything.
About the Instructor:
Caton Sollenberger is a professional guitarist who works as both a hired musician and a full-time member of local and nationally touring bands. Drawing on his professional experience and education at Berklee College of Music, Caton connects traditional musical concepts with their practical applications in real-world performance settings.
