TWO PERFORMANCES:3pm "Requiem for the Living" and sacred miniatures (one hour concert performance)
7pm The Final of the 2025 RMP Aria, followed by a full-scale performance of "Requiem for the Living", conducted by Andrew Wailes. Featuring almost 200 choral and orchestral performers.
Hear some of the nation’s finest young singers battle it out in the final of Australia’s most prestigious oratorio soloists award, accompanied on piano by outstanding pianist Peter de Jager, as well as a spectacular orchestral performance of Dan Forrest’s stunning “Requiem for the Living” – a beautiful and uplifting work, which has been hailed as “… a twenty-first century masterpiece”, performed by over 150 singers and orchestra, conducted by Andrew Wailes.
