RMIT Digital Design GenAI Forum #1

Join us in person at the RMIT Garden Building for the first RMIT Digital Design GenAI Forum. Featuring guest speaker Chris Dodds, Managing Director of Icon Inc alongside digital design academic staff J Rosenbaum (Digital Media), Andy Buchanan (Animation) and Doug Wilson (Games), each offering a provocation to spark discussion and debate.

Participants are encouraged to actively engage by responding to our speakers' provocations in small groups —questioning, reframing, subverting, challenging and synthesising; bring your own experiences and knowledge to contribute to the conversation!

In the afternoon, our RMIT Design Brains Trust (Tom Penney, Li Ping Thong, SJ Woulahan, Ben Byrne, Emma Luke, Mieke Dunbar, Lucian Rodriguez Lovell, Sam Haines) will synthesise themes from the day and host a collaborative learning and teaching workshop to reflect on and develop strategies in response to the day’s discussions.
Follow up AI Forums will be scheduled featuring further speakers from RMIT Design and Guests.
