Paradise 9
Paradise 9 are a four- piece psychedelia, protopunk, ambient,space-rock band based in London and the South-east. Formed in 1997 by Gregg McKella, originating from singer/songwriting nights, becoming a full band they released their first album “Showtime” in 1998.
To date they have 3 studio albums, the latest ‘Science Fiction Reality’, released in April 2021 on Flicknife Records, and previously with ‘Showtime’ (1998) and ‘Take Me to the Future’ (2013), a live CD ‘Live at the Amersham Arms 2014’, a DVD ‘Live at On-board the Craft 2013’ and their 20th Anniversary 1997 ~ 2017 CD.
“Their music brings a chilled yet punchy approach to the rock genre sound taking inspiration from psychedelic and progressive bands like Pink Floyd, Gong, and Hawkwind, while fusing proto and post punk from the Ramones through to the Clash, and the Psychedelic Furs.”
Having played many great festivals including Glastonbury Festival, A New Day Festival, Cambridge Rock Festival, Bearded Theory, Kozfest, Green Gathering, Small World to name a few they are out on the road again in 2025.
"Challenging, deft and understated space rock for 2021 and generations beyond." - Guy Shankland - Vive Le Rock
“Tremendous space rock with an intelligent and optimistic zen-punk message” - It’s Psychedelic Baby! Magazine
" If Paradise 9 had been around back in the day, then surely their space-punk vibe would have made them great stablemates for the likes of Inner City Unit, Underground Zero, and yes, Hawkwind themselves, on the 1980s Flicknife roster. Fast forward to 2021, and how fantastic to see them join the resurgent Flicknife label now! Sharp indeed!" Ian Abrahams, RC
“This is an album from the underground which feels just like that, with a title which clearly states what this is all about. Honest and with integrity, this never pretends to be anything more than it is and is all the more enjoyable for that.” Kev Rowland – Prog Archives
“…this for me is music of rock origin, hints of just about anything else that they can fit in, all wrapped around a punk vocal style that spits out its anger at the state of the planet and the human apathy toward it. Of its time music, with a conscience." Mark Cartwright – The Punk Site

Unorfadox
Unorfadox formed in 1976 in Bromley Kent ,with Influences from bands such as Dr Feelgood, Budgie, Split Enz and the Punk and New Wave movement, and even Gong!
After a couple of years gigging around the south east of London in pubs and clubs and anywhere we could play including the notorious Roxy Club and Ronnie Scotts, the band just amicably fizzled out leaving unfinished business!
Forward wind to 2025, two original members remain Brian Jardine /vocals & Ray Amos /Bass, With Ricky Steele on drums since 2013 and our newest recruit Lee Downs on guitar duties. Having had great feedback on the live circuit with this current lineup, things are looking good!

Incubus Lovechild
Mark ‘Skidder’ Edwards AKA Incubus Lovechild is a Shrewsbury, UK-based solo artist playing space rock / electronica heavily influenced mainly by 80’s – 90’s Hawkwind, with nuances of NWOBHM and 90’s trance.
Mark writes & records original lyrics & music and releases them through his recently established record label, SkidMark Multimedia Productions, (His last album DEADWORLD garnering favourable reviews on release from Vive Le Rock magazine & Eighth Day Magazine – See below).
Live, Mark performs vocals, guitar & synths / FX over proprietary backing tracks of his original music. To date Incubus Lovechild has focused solely on festivals, playing ~4 a year, examples being Glastonbury Psychfest, On Board The Craft festival & Kozfest, though he performed his first headliner set in Dumfries, Scotland last September to an appreciative audience.
Currently working on his next (double) album ‘ALIEN MESSIAH‘ which, akin to the last album, will guest ex-Hawkwind member Niall Hone on Bass.
