About this Event
Rizla Silvers:
The band’s story began in the smoking area of a Dublin gig, where Steve and Craig first crossed paths. Craig mentioned his band had just lost their bass player to London, and despite only recently picking up the instrument, Steve talked up his abilities and joined the fold. With Craig’s old workmate Jude later stepping in on drums, Rizla Silvers were born, built on chance meetings, quick chemistry, and a shared hunger to make noise.
Their sound fuses grit with melody, marrying sharp riffs and driving rhythms with soaring choruses. Drawing influence from the likes of Biffy Clyro, Arctic Monkeys, The Scratch and Fontaines D.C., Rizla Silvers balance raw aggression with groove and atmosphere, creating songs that feel urgent and cathartic in equal measure.
Jamie Orr Band:
25-year-old Rock Guitarist/ Songwriter Jaime Orr is an up and coming talent not to be missed.
Exposed to bands like AC/DC and Audioslave from a very early age, playing guitar helped Jaime to overcome major speech difficulties, allowing him to express himself beyond the use of words. It was a huge turning point and is the reason he's dedicated himself to a life in music. "The instrument is why I am able to articulate words the way I do now."
His music focuses on tough themes interspersed with positive messages - soft ballad type verses influenced by John Mayer combined with hard hitting guitar riff-based choruses inspired by grunge and hard rock bands such as Royal Blood and Nirvana.
Jaime has already played highly regarded Irish venues including Vicar Street - sharing the stage with legendary Thin Lizzy Guitarist Eric Bell. He's recently composed guitar parts as well as provided vocals for a song featured in the music documentary Mr. Dreamer [currently on GloboPlay], has had his own music included in hotpress magazine and has also appeared on the Late Late Toy Show when he was 12.
ÉABHA:
electronic solo project of éabha from irish post-punk band madrúa.
Träšhbag:
In the case of Träšhbag, silly comes first and heavy comes second. Music that can be described as a punky Primus, you'll hear lots of groovy riffs from Zap's thunderous bass, while also giving you a chuckle with all the shenanigans on stage.
Orchid Feeder:
Orchid Feeder Is an Irish Riot GRRRL band based in Dublin. Sonically inspired by 90s Alternative and Nu-metal bands, this group of punks stand against discrimination in all its forms. They channel their lyrics centred around womens empowerment and existential distress using personal experience as fuel.
