It’s that time again for “music in the park” the Annual Rizal Park Jazz Festival 2024! This is a FREE family friendly community event at the iconic Dr Jose Rizal Park on North Beacon Hill(acrossFrom the Pacific Medical Center (formerly the Amazon Building). This is a fun filled day of music, Zumba and laughs! Yummy Filipino food and Filipino culture! Open to all! We will have Zumba to kick off the day 4 bands! The Rizal park jazz (10 piece big band) will make their debut, Tony Muya keyboard, Joe Rogel: drums, Dino Mayer: bass, Harv Leonard: Trumpet 1, Caesar Cabrera: Trumpet 2, Jon Urmenita: Tenor sax, Andy Ygona: alto sax, percussion: Ernesto Padiangco. Guitar: TBD.
Special guest vocalists Maria Batayola, Nelia Delos Reyes and Tony Colinares!
Tina Lombard One of the original TNT members will be flying in all the way from Denver to join us! A Seattle native and was one of the first performers in 2009! Tina will be leading the band! The original Pagdiriwang TNT band will reunite!
The Little Donuts will also be back performing your HALL AND OATS favorites and what’s a Filipino festival without the famous Ihaw Ihaw band performing your OPM favorites with Roger Rigor of VST and Teza Mendoza!
