Riyaaz (Practice) Day - Free and Open to All!

The day will be informally led by AACM faculty, with various types of practice sittings including group, duet, and individual sessions. Players are encouraged to meet other musicians and create a self-directed experience amongst the various types of suggested session structures.

As always, the day is open to all instruments and levels, and non-Indian instruments are welcome as well as traditional Indian instruments.

Full group sessions will be in the key of C, and sitar sessions will be in D. Other instruments are free to play together in whatever key suits them, during small group sessions.

The event will run from 9am to 6pm.

Please bring a potluck lunch dish to share for lunch!
