Riverside Hawks invites families, neighbors, student-athletes, and community partners to join us for the Riverside Hawks Community Engagement Family Celebration on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Weather permitting, the event will take place outdoors on Claremont Avenue between West 120th Street and West 122nd Street. In the event of inclement weather, the celebration will move inside The Riverside Church.
This free community celebration is designed to bring families and neighbors together in a safe, welcoming, and family-centered environment. Guests can enjoy music, youth activities, games, food service, refreshments, a 360-degree photo booth, and community connection throughout the afternoon.
The event reflects Riverside Hawks’ ongoing commitment to leveraging basketball to create academic opportunities while strengthening the connection between families, youth, and the broader West Harlem community.

- No alcohol is permitted.
- No smoking or vaping is permitted.
- No gambling or wagering is permitted.
- Food will be served on-site, but there will be no outdoor cooking or grilling.
- Outdoor activities are subject to change based on weather, safety needs, and city permitting requirements.
- In the event of inclement weather, the event will move inside The Riverside Church.
