This free, in-person home renovation workshop is for homeowners who have outgrown their current space but do not want to move. We’ll talk through how to thoughtfully renovate a home to better support today’s lifestyle, whether that means reworking layouts, improving flow, or planning for long-term comfort.
This workshop is designed to be informative, relaxed, and approachable. It’s a space to ask questions, explore ideas, and gain clarity before starting a renovation.
We’ll discuss:
How to rethink layouts when kitchens, living areas, or storage no longer work
Renovating to support family growth, work-from-home, and daily routines
When it makes sense to remodel instead of move
How early planning impacts cost, timeline, and long-term comfort
What to expect before construction begins, including permits and sequencing
Hosted by MDT Design & Build, a licensed California design-build contractor. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive real, experience-based guidance to help make confident decisions about their home.
