Join us for the day on this exciting picturesque trip down the much loved peaceful section of the river Trent, there will be lots of wildlife and scenery to keep your interest and plenty of wonderful memories to be made splashing around in your chosen canoe, kayak or Paddleboard.Starting at the Trent Lock where the river soar and Erewash canal meet the Trent you will already be treated to the vastness of the water, the stunning green surroundings and the vast array of river craft to gawp at.
You will be guided by our experienced and knowledgeable river trip leader enjoying all the river has to offer, stopping off for lunch at the beautiful Attenborough Nature reserve where you have the chance to explore and use their facilities.
The trip will conclude at Beeston Marina where you can take one last stunning view in, of the Clifton’s St Mary’s church that sits on top of the cliff looking down onto the river Trent. Whilst we get ready to leave there is the opportunity to enjoy an ice cream or treat at the Beeston Marina café whilst sitting next to the river.
Just bring yourselves, Lunch, a drinks bottle, and appropriate clothing and accessories for the weather (see confirmation details).
Optionally bring a phone with waterproof phone case or waterproof camera/phone to take lots of cool shots and some pennies for an ice cream or goodies you’d like to purchase.
