The River Parkway Trust invites you and your pre-K or K aged explorers to join us for a Saturday morning adventure learning all about birds at the River Center! During the two-hour long session, your Weekend Explorer will:- Take a guided nature walk around the Hidden Homes Trail with extra large nests to explore
- Observe and feel real nests from different birds in our area
- Make their own nest craft to take home
- Dissect Owl Pellets to discover what our local birds like to eat!
River Buddies Weekend Explorers is open to children between the ages of 3 1/2 and 6 years old. The fee for each program session is $15.00 per child and online registration & payment in advance is required. Parents are required to stay on site for the duration of the trip, and to assist with social distancing and participate in activities with their Young Explorers. Please bring a water bottle and mask for your child(ren). The River Center is located at 11605 Old Friant Rd, Fresno. Meet at the picnic area when you arrive.
