Rituals and Offerings brings together the work of 28 ceramic artists, each presenting a unique interpretation of the theme in clay.
Feature Artist:
Toby Twiss bridges functional pottery and conceptual sculpture, highlighting the intimate bonds between objects, technology, and human experience within domestic and broader cultural contexts. Trained initially as an art founder and furniture designer, he earned an MFA in sculpture from Elam and has spent 15 years at Auckland Studio Potters, coordinating Otago Polytechnic’s Diploma in Ceramic Arts. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Auckland University of Technology.
