## Ritual: Ticket Terms, Assumption of Risk and Release
**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THESE TERMS WAIVE LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE FOR NEGLIGENCE, AND REQUIRE INDIVIDUAL BINDING ARBITRATION.**
**1. Parties.** “Organizer” means Ritual and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, promoters, DJs, performers, vendors, security, sponsors, insurers, successors and assigns. “Holder” means any purchaser, ticket bearer, guest, or person entering the Event on a ticket, including anyone on whose behalf the purchaser acts. “Venue” means the venue owner, operator and landlord (together with Organizer, the “Released Parties”).
**2. Revocable License.** A ticket is a revocable license for one-time entry, not a property right. Admission may be refused or revoked, and Holder removed, at Organizer’s sole discretion without refund.
**3. Age and ID.** This is a **21+ event.** Valid, unexpired government photo ID is required. No ID, no entry, no refund. Organizer may refuse any ID it believes is invalid.
**4. All Sales Final.** No refunds or exchanges. If the Event is canceled, postponed, relocated, or changed (including lineup, time, or capacity) for any reason, including weather, government order, venue issues, or safety, Holder’s sole remedy is a refund of face value, excluding fees where permitted by law. Organizer is not liable for travel, lodging, or other costs.
**5. Assumption of Risk.** HOLDER KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUMES ALL RISKS of attending, including loud amplified sound and hearing damage, strobe and laser effects, crowds, crowd surges, slips and falls, contact with other attendees, theft or loss of property, alcohol consumption, communicable disease, and the acts of other attendees or third parties, whether foreseeable or not, resulting in injury, illness, property loss, or death.
**6. Release and Covenant Not to Sue.** TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOLDER, ON BEHALF OF HOLDER AND HOLDER’S HEIRS, ASSIGNS, AND REPRESENTATIVES, RELEASES, WAIVES, AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE the Released Parties for any claim arising from attendance at the Event or related activities, **INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF ANY RELEASED PARTY.** This release does not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct where applicable law prohibits waiver. Holder acknowledges this release is a material part of the bargain and the reason Holder is permitted to attend.
**7. Indemnification.** Holder agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claim, loss, damage, or expense (including attorneys’ fees) arising from Holder’s conduct, intoxication, violation of these Terms, or injury to others or property caused by Holder.
**8. Alcohol and Substances.** Holder is solely responsible for their own consumption and conduct. Organizer may refuse service or entry to anyone who appears intoxicated. Illegal drugs and weapons are prohibited. Holder is responsible for arranging safe transportation. Nothing in these Terms is intended to create a duty beyond that imposed by Florida law (including Fla. Stat. § 768.125).
**9. Security, Search, and Conduct.** Holder consents to bag checks, pat-downs, and screening. Prohibited items will be confiscated. Organizer may eject, without refund, any person who violates policy, appears impaired, or poses a risk to others. Holder authorizes Organizer to share information with law enforcement as needed to protect safety.
**10. Medical Emergencies.** Holder authorizes Organizer and its agents to summon medical assistance and agrees to be responsible for all resulting costs. Organizer is not obligated to provide medical care.
**11. Photo, Video, and Audio Consent.** Holder grants Organizer a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to record and use Holder’s image, voice, and likeness at the Event in any media, without compensation. Holder may not record or livestream for commercial purposes.
**12. Lost or Stolen Property.** Organizer is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property, including belongings left at coat check or in vehicles.
**13. Limitation of Liability.** TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE RELEASED PARTIES’ TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FACE VALUE OF THE TICKET. NO SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES SHALL BE RECOVERABLE.
**14. Mandatory Individual Arbitration and Class Action Waiver.** ANY DISPUTE RELATED TO THE TICKET OR THE EVENT SHALL BE RESOLVED BY FINAL, BINDING, CONFIDENTIAL ARBITRATION BEFORE JAMS IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, UNDER ITS STREAMLINED RULES, GOVERNED BY THE FEDERAL ARBITRATION ACT. CLAIMS MAY BE BROUGHT ONLY INDIVIDUALLY. HOLDER WAIVES THE RIGHT TO A JURY OR COURT TRIAL AND TO ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. Claims must be filed within one (1) year of the Event to the extent permitted by law.
**15. Governing Law and Venue.** Florida law governs, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For any matter not subject to arbitration, exclusive venue lies in the state or federal courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
**16. Severability.** If any provision is held unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remainder shall remain in full force.
**17. Acknowledgment.** BY PURCHASING, ACCEPTING, OR USING A TICKET, OR BY ENTERING THE EVENT, HOLDER CONFIRMS THEY HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THESE TERMS, ARE 21 OR OLDER, AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM, INCLUDING THE RELEASE OF NEGLIGENCE CLAIMS.
