Join me every Thursday from 12-1pm in Ritual Dance!
Ritual Dance is the art of storytelling through intentional choreography, authentic expression, and divine embodiment. This practice is aimed to reconnect us to the healing medicine of dance and artistry, and remember our body's innate capacity for creation. Through creativity, movement, and community, we find a deeper connection to our bodies and recognize the true beauty that lives in unique and soulful expressions. These stories are meant to empower us and deepen our awareness of who we are and what we are capable of. Ritual dance embraces and encourages the diverse expressions of all dancers. Whether you have danced all your life, or have never taken a class, this practice is for you. You are welcomed and wanted as you are!
Each week a different story will be told and embodied through dance choreographed by Sierra Grishaber. Examples of some themes we will be working with include: Mother Earth, nature, the elements, the feminine & masculine energies, stories of the land, our ancestors, and more!
NOTE: Though this is a Co-Ed class, the choreography may often feel more catered towards the feminine. This is just my style of choreography.
Prior enrollment is required! Enrollment/payment must be submitted before class! Please sign up by the latest, 2 hours before class.
