OBSCURA QALMA est née en 2019 à Venise, en Italie. La même année, ils sortent le premier EP "From The Sheol To The Apeiron" via Metal Scrap Records. En 2021, Obscura Qalma a sorti son premier album complet "Apotheosis" via Rising Nemesis Records (Within Destruction, Acranius, Stillbirth) et en 2023, ils ont fait une tournée en Europe pour promouvoir l'album. En 2023, le groupe signe un accord avec le label italien DuskTone (Bishop Of Hexen, Stormlord, Opera IX) pour 2 sorties. Depuis sa création, le groupe s'est produit en Italie, en Autriche, en Serbie et en Bulgarie. République tchèque, Slovaquie, Slovénie, Allemagne, Suisse et Bosnie.
