A nationally touring artist and regular headliner at Myron’s at The Smith Center in Las Vegas, Rita has captivated audiences at concert halls, performing arts centers, and premier jazz clubs across the U.S. Her multiple recordings showcase her signature blend of jazz, timeless songs, and heartfelt storytelling, including her acclaimed interpretation of “Rainy Night in Tokyo,” which has received frequent airplay on 91.5 Jazz and More in Las Vegas.
Known for her rare gift of making audiences not only hear the lyrics, but truly feel them, Rita brings warmth, honesty, and emotional depth to every performance. From the Great American Songbook and jazz standards to beautifully reimagined classics and selections from her recordings, every song is delivered with elegance, authenticity, and unmistakable artistry.
After Dark is under the musical direction of acclaimed pianist, arranger, producer, songwriter, and multiple BMI Award-winning musician David Siegel, a longtime touring pianist with jazz legend Arturo Sandoval. Together with an ensemble of world-class musicians, Rita and David create an evening of inspired arrangements, exceptional musicianship, and unforgettable storytelling.

The best listening room in the city, Birds of a FeatherJazz Lounge is an intimate 40- seat art deco performance space tucked away in Downtown Los Angeles. Known for its Private Events, we’re hosting a diverse lineup of top-tier live jazz.

The club is nestled within the awarding-winning 5 star Vietnamese vegan restaurant AU LAC. The address is 710 W. 1st St., downtown near Disney Hall.

Offering everything from straight-ahead and BeBop to Latin, experimental, R&B, electronic and global jazz, as well as spoken word, Birds of a Feather Jazz Lounge often mixes both old-school legends and the next generation of LA’s finest musicians. It’s a spot that aims to capture a classic, unique jazz lounge vibe.

Performances at Birds of a Feather Jazz Lounge happen Tuesdays through Sundays, depending on who has booked, and shows benefit selected charity and non-profit organizations.

Where is parking located?

Parking is located under the building, accessible from west of the building off of 1st St. between Bunker Hill Towers and the mini-shopping center AU LAC is in.

Once you’ve turned into the large driveway, turn left into the garage “Guest Parking and Residence Parking of The Promendade”. $12 CASH ONLY.

Additional parking is located directly across Hope St. at Disney Hall - 111 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012. $10.

There is limited street parking in front of Au Lac, Disney Hall and The Music Center.

Au Lac’s full menu is available inside the club. There is no minimum, but we would appreciate your purchases!
Au Lac is a non-alcoholic restaurant. We serve nice mock-tails in the venue. And the good news is that all ages can attend or perform there! If you're wanting alcohol before or after the event, The Conrad is a lovely bar just across the front of Disney hall, just a block away.
