Rita Gigante, author of The Godfather’s Daughter: An Unlikely Story of Love, Healing, and Redemption, and daughter of the late mob boss Vincent “the Chin” Gigante, has dedicated her adult life to healing people spiritually, emotionally, and physically. She has a degree in Exercise Physiology and is a licensed massage therapist and Reiki master. Rita also has a private practice outside of New York City, where she serves clients using massage therapy, energy therapy, intuitive healing, spiritual counseling, sound therapy, and intuitive readings.

Rita specializes in spiritual guidance and helping others connect to their higher self for their own answers. Rita works directly with Source/Spirit, her higher self, intuition, and a host of other energies such as Angels to do her work as a vehicle of the light. Combined with knowledge acquired through studying with renowned teachers such as Eamonn Downey and Jinny Johnson, and her life experiences, Rita strives to assist others in achieving health, balance, closure, and peace, as well as to discover their soul’s unlimited potential.

Rita’s journey, as a healer, began in her youth. She started studying Massage Therapy and graduated from the Swedish Institute in 1995. This work led Rita into opening up her psychic skills and gave her the practice she needed to become seasoned at her work. She then went on to earn her BS degree in Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology from William Paterson University in 2001. As her interest and passion grew for learning further about the body, Rita began to move into teaching in the areas of Anatomy and Physiology, Massage techniques, and Chakra Balancing. She taught for 5 years at the Institute for Therapeutic Massage in Pompton Lakes, NJ starting in 2003.

Rita cherishes the connections she has formed with her students and clients while relating her own experiences through spiritual guidance. Her passion, over the past 12 years, has been concentrated on lecturing on topics such as Crossing Over, Chakras, Energy and Auras, Angels, and Dream Interpretation, etc.
