The Motley Bauhaus | Melbourne, VI
AdvertisementCristina Spizzica has struggled her whole life to let go of anything – and has the data to prove it.
In a debut solo show that is (very technically) over 30 years in the making, audiences will be taken on a journey through the immaculately categorised USB flash drive that is Cristina’s mind, as she shares stories from her past replete with proof and the new material they have inspired in the present.
From childhood diaries to MSN chat logs, home videos to internet forum adventures, Cristina leaves no sentimental stone unturned in search of evidence that ANYTHING plus time equals comedy.
For nostalgic millennials, data hoarders, or anyone who wants to see the joy in someone realising exactly why they are the way they are, this is a show not to be missed.
Cristina Spizzica is a comedian, improv teacher, and corporate sell-out to pay the bills. She has been a house ensemble performer at The Improv Conspiracy since 2017, with regular appearances in flagship shows The Remix, Harold Night, and F#*k This, I Quit.
Cristina received acclaim for her performance at Melbourne Fringe 2022 as part of the four-star-reviewed stand-up split-bill Triplets, alongside Laura Buskes and Hayley May Bracken, and participated in RAW Comedy earlier that year. She also made appearances at MICF 2019 and Melbourne Fringe 2018 as part of improvised hip-hop duo RHYMEZONE.
