Sunday Open Mic Night at Rising Tides
We’re launching a brand new weekly open mic starting Sunday, April 19th — and this one is all about real, live performance.
Let’s get this out of the way first:
🚫 No karaoke on Sundays.
We’ve got three other nights during the week for that.
This night is for artists, performers, and creatives who want to bring something real to the stage.
🎶 Live music (covers welcome)
😂 Stand-up comedy
📝 Spoken word / poetry
💄 Drag performances
🎭 Or any other creative act you’ve been working on
If you’re a singer and want to use a backing track, that’s totally fine — just make sure it’s your own/original track. Otherwise it turns into karaoke, and that’s not what this night is about.
⏱️ Each performer gets a 10-minute set
Enough time to actually perform — not rush.
We’re building a space where:
👉 People listen
👉 Performers feel supported
👉 And the vibe is about the art, not the noise
