Gran’s Guide to Stop an Ogre (Also Works for Witches and Bullies): Zach and Lilly arrive home from school upset about the troubles from their day — Zach’s friend is getting pushed around, Lilly is being left out by the “mean girls” who rule the school, and both of them are worried about being called tattle-tales. Granny tells them a seemingly unrelated whimsical, magical story... but it might just help them overcome the bullies they face at school. In Granny’s helpful story, Jack and Jill stand up to a mean and tough ogre and a wicked witch with the help of a wide variety of helpful fairytale friends.
Teen Showcase: The Teen Talent Showcase, as part of the Rising Star Revue, will be an exciting production, where we showcase Spotlight Community Theatre’s wonderful teen talent, with a scripted performance, of a theatrical nod to Broadway. This Showcase will feature 16 to18 of our incredibly talented teens (from 13-19years of age). This performance will showcase our teens’ tremendous talent, which could include anything from singing, dancing and musical instruments, to portraying various characters in short theatrical scenes and/or wonderful monologues. This will be a thrilling, star-studded, production not to be missed.
