WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? 🦺
We recommend smart/casual. You do not need to wear a suit (can if you want to) but most members opt for smart trousers/dress and a shirt/ blouse or branded workwear. We recommend you do not come in dirty workwear.

DO YOU HAVE ADVICE ON GETTING TO THE VENUE IF I'M NOT DRIVING? 🚕
🚂 Sheffield Train Station is 10 minutes in a taxi to the OEC
🚌 To get from Sheffield City Centre to OEC, you can take the Number 7 or 8 bus towards Hillsborough. You can catch these buses from stops such as High Street or Cathedral. OEC is a short, 5-10 minute, walk from the Hillsborough Interchange where the buses will drop you off.
🚃 Head to a tram stop in Sheffield city centre and get on the yellow or blue tram lines. Board the tram route heading towards Middlewood or Malin Bridge and depart at the Hillsborough tram stop. OEC is a short walk from this stop, approximately 5-10 minutes away.

CAN I LEAVE MY CAR OVERNIGHT / CHARGE IT? 🚗
Overnight parking is permitted at the OEC; however, vehicles are left at the owner’s risk. There are four rapid EV charging points on site.

WHERE SHOULD I BOOK TO STAY OVER? 🏨
Some members choose to stay the night before if they have a long journey. The closest hotel to the venue is The Garrison Hotel in Hillsborough. This is an 8-minute walk to the venue or a 3-minute drive.
The majority of members also stay over on the Friday evening for the social which takes place in Sheffield City Centre. Most members tend to book city centre hotels please feel free to post in the community to arrange and see where others are staying. There is a whatsapp group to coordinate this so please just ask to be added.

I HAVE MOBILITY NEEDS IS THE VENUE ACCESSIBLE TO ME? 👩🏻‍🦽‍➡️
It is fully accessible with disabled car parking spaces onsite. An elevator is available in the reception to provide access to the event suites on the first floor. The venue is also equipped with wide doorways and hallways to accommodate wheelchairs/mobility devices, with three disabled toilets and one easy-access shower room.
