The Dance Mosaic is a team of dance facilitators with extensive training and experience who are coming together to host dance space devoted to freedom of movement, embodiment, expression, deep listening, and shared presence.Like a mosaic, we gather together with our vast diversity of stories, ages, and backgrounds.
Come to move, to feel, to remember - or simply to let the body lead for a while.
You are a piece of the mosaic. Together, we dance the whole.
The Dance Mosaic team is currently composed of Lisa-Marie Walker, Kylee Dawn, Nadia Van Doren, and Marie-Claire O’Donoghue.
*Your facilitator* for February 1st is Lisa-Marie Walker.
Lisa-Marie has been facilitating dance spaces for over 25 years and is a dedicated space holder and ceremonialist by trade. Her dances invite depth, curiosity and joy.
*What to Expect:*
-Unfacilitated, freeform
-A welcoming, inclusive, substance & fragrance free space
-Emphasis on consent, awareness, mutual respect and care for self and others
-Music that invites a variety of expressions and rhythms
-Community Opening and Closing (we start and end together)
