Rise 2026 marks WAAPA Dance’s first performance season at the ECU City campus, and we are excited to present this program in our very own purpose-built Dance Theatre. Our 2026 program celebrates and features West Australian dance artists with two new contemporary works, created by award-winning local choreographers Brooke Leeder and Scott Elstermann. Claire Voss will create a new ballet for the Advanced Diploma cohort, while the 3rd Year Bachelor of Arts conversion students will work with David Mack to experience the iconic style of Sydney Dance Company and perform a recreation of a Rafael Bonachela work.
