Sunday, October 2, 2:00pm is Flint River Presbytery's annual "Rise Against Hunger" meal-packing mission event. First Pres is hosting the event this year in our region. Come join sisters and brothers in Christ from around southwest Georgia to pack meals that will be sent to those in need worldwide. This is an all-ages event, with something every age and ability/mobility level can do to help the effort. Contact Josh Bower to sign up to be a part of First Presbyterian's team today (229-376-0471, [email protected]). For those in Sunday worship that day, we're having a lunch after church of friend chicken, potato salad, etc. at no cost for those who are staying to serve at RAH. Let Josh know if you'll be at the lunch.
