Join Risa Lavelle and friends for an early-evening of soulful originals and covers—music where sweetness meets sorrow in beautifully haunting melodiesRisa's composing and performing comes from a place of necessity—a way to make sense of the world. Music has been her constant companion, the language she turns to when words fall short. Her songs are shaped by heartbreaks and by moments of joy so big they spill over.
When Risa steps onto a stage, it feels less like performing and more like remembering. Remembering who she is beneath all the noise, and how music has always been the thread that leads her home.
Currently performing with The Honey Steelers (https://thehoneysteelers.com), an Eclectic Americana band. She is currently finishing up her first album -- "Don't Forget To Breathe" will be the first song to be released on Winter Solstice 2025.
