Rio Del Mar Living Shoreline Community Planting Day
Come join California Srate Parks, Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks, and the Monterey of Bay Living Shoreline Program for a fun day of planting native plants to build the Living Shoreline at Rio del Mar Beach adjacent the mouth of Aptos Creek! This event is a great opportunity to get involved in your community and help enhance our shoreline. No experience is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to get your hands dirty. Dress in layers. We'll provide gloves, tools, plants, and some light snacks. Don't miss out on this chance to help build a better coastline and connect with your neighbors. See you there!
