WHAT TO EXPECT:
Live Music: Curated by Sofar Sounds, this event features live musical performances from four local artists, setting the perfect backdrop for a lively afternoon. In traditional Sofar Sounds fashion, the lineup will be announced the week of the market, so stay tuned and be sure to follow along on social media for the special announcement!
Local Art: Shop prints, clothes, and goods from 55+ talented local RiNo artists and small business owners. You'll find unique pieces you won't see anywhere else!
Crafting: Learn to make your own Chibwees with Terra! Chibwees, inspired by the Japanese term "chibi" (meaning small) and the classic Weebles, are delightful small craft dolls that are quick and easy to create. Not only are they fun to make, but they also provide endless entertainment. Whether you want to design a miniature version of your pet, recreate your favorite character, or craft an entire D&D party, Chibwees are the perfect project for all ages and skill levels. This activity will be free and available on a first-come-first-served basis.
DIY Screen Printing: It wouldn’t be a RiNo Summer Art Market without our FREE DIY Screen Printing Station! Be one of the first 100 participants and create your own market tote bag! We’ll have two RiNo-inspired designs to choose from this year! Pro Tip: If you’d like to bring an item from home to screen print, we can do that too!
Delicious Food: Comal Heritage Food Incubator will be open, offering mouth-watering eats to keep you energized throughout the day. We’ll also have beer from Dewey Beer Co. for attendees to enjoy inside Comal! All proceeds from beer sales will benefit Comal’s non-profit!
Family Fun: The Denver Public Library will host a FREE storytime from 12-1 pm for families and kids, making it a fun outing for all ages. The English storytime will be from 12- 12:30 pm, and the Spanish storytime will run from 12:30 - 1pm.
