As we explore, we'll seek out bloodroot, a striking native wildflower, and stinging nettle, an edible plant packed with nutrients. Learn about their ecological roles and traditional uses while enjoying scenic views of rolling hills and early spring blooms. Hiking boots are recommended.
Meet at the Shepherd Lake parking area, Shepherd Lake Rd., Ringwood. There are facilities (restrooms available). Ample parking is typically available, but arriving early is recommended.
