March 5th- Featured Bands: The Vital Groove (SRQ),
Preying Mantease ( Orlando) Headliner- Berra (D.C.)
8pm J Santi and The Vital Groove are a dynamic trio that merge the soulful intensity of Stevie Ray Vaughan with the desert rock swagger of Queens of the Stone Age, all while umbrella’d by the singer-songwriter prowess of Tom Petty. Fronted by guitarist and vocalist J Santi, with Chris Sussman on bass and Marcus James on drums, the band creates a powerful sound characterized by fiery blues solos, heavy grooves, and hypnotic riffs. Known for their electrifying performances, they bring a fresh edge to blues rock, captivating audiences with their raw energy and modern flair.
9pm Preying Mantease (Orlando) Preying Mantease is an all-girl four piece indie/alternative rock band from Orlando, Fl. They have amassed a small but authentic fanbase in their hometown that relates to their melancholic yet relatable tunes. They currently have an EP titled ‘’Creation of Manteaser’’ on all platforms, and a music video for the song “Did You Ask Her?” On YouTube. Their lyrics are just as important as their sound, encompassed by a mix of cynicism, feminist ideals, and honest thoughts about the current state of the world.

10pm Berra (D.C.)
Berra” is an indie-pop project by Roberra Djalleta — Ethiopian-American artist bringing soulful vulnerability and a bold alternative edge to every stage she touches. Originally based in Atlanta and now making waves in the DMV, Berra is a Black queer woman whose music creates space for joy, truth, and transformation. With past performances at iconic venues like DC9, Songbyrd, Pearl Street, and Union Stage, she’s opened for signed artists like Lowertown (Dirty Hit) and Hannah Jadagu (Sub Pop) — Berra isn’t just performing, she’s reshaping what representation looks and sounds like in indie music.
