Ring of Steall Skyrun

The Ring of Steall is a classic round of four Munros above Glen Nevis, Lochaber. The route involves two fantastic and technical (grade 1) ridges with views over Ben Nevis.

In recent years, the loop has gained worldwide popularity on account of the Salomon Ring of Steall Skyrace which used to take place over these mountains (but this event is no more!) The classic 16km/1700m round starts and finishes in Glen Nevis and includes all the best parts of the longer/previous skyrace route.

Despite still being the official race recce provider for *, this guided skyrun from Girls on Hills is not associated any skyrace and is therefore not a race recce. Instead our group of runners will enjoy a sociable and relaxed journey around this scenic route, with plenty of walking, plus stopping for photos and lunch along the way (weather permitting!)

There are no prerequisites but you should have a good level of hill fitness and some fell running experience (ideally your would be capable of comfortably running 10km on hilly trails) to get the most out of this guided skyrunning experience. But you don't need to be fast!
