RIM COUNTRY VETERANS DAY ?? Northern Gila County Community Drug Taskforce is hosting a cruise parade to honor all veterans & gathering at Stage near Goodwill/Big Lots at 0800. Parade starts at 0830 with a route through town. All vehicles welcome. Obey all traffic laws and travel at your own risk.
The Town of Payson Municipal Government will be holding the annual ceremony in the Payson High School auditorium at 0930.
American Legion Payson Post 147 and Veterans Helping Veterans are hosting a ceremony for all area veterans at the Payson Veterans Memorial in Green Valley Park at 1100. Please bring worn flags that need to be respectfully retired.
Rim Country Classic Auto Club will be offering free rides from the HS to lunch at Mazatzal Hotel & Casino to pre-registered veterans.
The Rim Country community is welcome to attend and show appreciation at each ceremony.
Veterans are invited to the Payson AZ Elks Lodge at 5pm for free dinner on THURSDAY (spouses $12 & others $25). Registration needed.
Gila County Republican Committee Volunteers and The Oxbow are hosting a Veterans Appreciation Dinner & Dance on SATURDAY. Ceremonies start at 5pm. Buffet Dinner at 5:30pm. Band at 6:30pm. Please call GCRC 928-476-1040 to register in advance for dinner. Veterans eat free, spouses $10, others $25.
Payson Dentists Salute Our Veterans by offering veterans a free basic cleaning, extraction, or a filling. Space is limited. Please call to to reserve an appointment that week with Payson Premier Dental, Anderson Dental Group, Center Point Dental, or Alpine Family Dentistry, Payson.
