Choir RIGÓ opens for new members for the fall season 2025. Apply to become a member or join for a free trial by filling out the application form before the 26th of August. ABOUT THE CHOIR
RIGÓ is a choir working with vocal polyphonic heritage from various cultures. Our goal is to create a community around folklore and appreciate cultural diversity. We welcome all kinds of voices and members despite their background regarding music and singing. All material is taught by ear, therefore being able to read sheet music is not needed.
During a season, we aim to have a diverse repertoire from various cultures and styles. We have previously worked with songs from Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Hungary, Greece, Kurdistan, Spain, Portugal, Argentina and Brazil, among others.
The choir is led by Dorottya Máté, a student of Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium, who is passionate about folklore and vocal music.
MEMBERSHIP
You become a part of the choir by filling out the application form and transferring the membership fee.
Student fee 700 DKK
Normal fee 900 DKK
SEASON START
1st of September

19.00-19.30: arrival
19.30-21.30: rehearsal
