About this Event

Andrew Lloyd Webber, Stephen Sondheim, Cameron Mackintosh. What do they have in common? They’re all men. Quick! Grab your tickets to this one-night-only, immersive theatre performance held at the historic Pankhurst House and be guided through a tour which raises awareness of female creatives. Become inspired through the stories of Sara Barellis, Greta Gerwig, Tina Fey and Brenda Chapman.

Upon arrival, look out for the quirky- klutz tour guide Herbet Huckleberry- Finn; he will collect your tickets and lead your way through the museum. Open arms. Open minds. Open yours.

Out of Mind is an emerging theatre company originated by four graduates from the Institute for Contemporary Theatre, Manchester. Incorporating elements across the three disciplines: dance, drama and singing, their current work Rights at the Museum has a purpose to raise awareness of the success of female creatives and to inspire future generations, allowing females a voice. Working in collaboration with the Pankhurst Centre, all funds will be donated to The Pankhurst Trust- a charity which ensures the powerful story of the women who won the vote continues to inspire us all to challenge gender inequality, and to ensure that those suffering from domestic violence and abuse get the confidential help they need.
