1️⃣ 9:00-10:30AM
Bellydance Fan Veils Workshop with Margarita Kamjaka
Dive into the basics of handling and dancing with fan veils! Margarita, a renowned Latvian Bellydancer and owner of Zafira Dance Studio, will guide you through essential techniques, fun tricks, and a short combination to practice. Please bring two fan veils and get ready to create some dance magic!
2️⃣ 11:00-12:30 Tango Oriental with Elena Shilenkova
Experience the beautiful fusion of Bellydance and Argentine Tango in this captivating workshop. Led by Elena, director of Riga's ELMIRA Bellydance Studio, you'll explore new rhythms and styles, expanding your dance horizons. This is your chance to embrace the unique blend of Tango Oriental!
3️⃣ 14:00-15:30 Christmas Choreography with Yallar
Step into the holiday spirit with a lively Christmas-themed choreography led by Yallar, a dancer representing the UK and owner of Yallar Dance Studio! We’ll learn a fun routine to a famous Christmas song, perfect for spreading festive cheer. There’s a good chance we’ll perform this dance at the Zafira Friends Party on December 7th, so don't miss out!
4️⃣ 16:00-17:30 Body Awareness and Relaxation through West African Dance with Alina
Explore the natural flow of your body through the rhythms of West African dance. Alina will focus on body awareness, helping you find the balance between strength and relaxation. This workshop is suitable for all levels and includes techniques to ground yourself and let go of self-judgment. A perfect way to connect with your "wild side" in a supportive space!
