Riftbound Nexus Nights are weekly, casual-focused organized play events for the Riftbound Trading Card Game (CCG) based in the League of Legends universe. Typically held in local game stores, these events provide a relaxed, social atmosphere for players to play 3-4 rounds, often 1v1.
Atmosphere: Designed as a welcoming, weekly gathering for new and experienced players to play, learn, and test new decks in a relaxed setting.
Event Structure: Usually involves 3-4 rounds of best-of-three (BO3) or best-of-one (BO1) matches.
Rewards: Entry typically includes a 3-card "Nexus Nights" promo pack containing exclusive foil variant or alternative art cards, with potential for additional booster packs based on wins. (Being a new play store; we are offering $5 store credit per win, until we receive our first batches of official prize support.)
Preparation: Players are expected to bring their own constructed deck.
Format: While usually 1v1, the events can sometimes include 2v2 or free-for-all, making it a flexible "local" gathering.
Sign-Up: Participation requires registration via platforms like Carde.io and connecting a Riot Games account.
Nexus Nights are intended as a stepping stone to more competitive, sanctioned tournaments known as "Summoner Skirmishes".--These too will be scheduled opportunities in the near future.
