In 1977, George Lucas changed pop culture forever with his smash hit 'Star Wars'. In 1978, he almost destroyed it all by greenlighting the 'Star Wars Holiday Special'.It aired once never to be shown again.
Except...
...die-hard 'Star Wars' fans copied the TV broadcast and have been passing it around ever since, cementing its reputation as the greatest trainwreck in TV history!!!
This Christmas, for your viewing (dis)pleasure, we will be screening the RiffTrax version of the special, including the ads and PSAs aired during the original broadcast:
Come see why the Force was wrong with this one! We'll have TONS of laughs with familiar faces from a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away (but not far away enough!)
