Riding the Waves: Navigating Powerful Emotions

This class meets Wednesdays, October 30 – November 20 at 7:00 pm. Tickets are non-refundable.

Amid the stresses of a consequential election and a non-stop news cycle, find some inner peace through Dr. Tara Brach’s R.A.I.N. tool for navigating powerful emotions: Recognize, Allow, Investigate, Nurture.

Over four sessions, mindfulness instructor Alison Cohen takes you through each part of the practice, using guided meditation, reflection, writing, discussion, and Jewish wisdom to help you build resilience and self-compassion. Beginners welcome. Classes are cumulative and designed to be taken together.
