ARRIVE EARLY. The ride rolls at 6:00 SHARP. The pace will vary, traffic lights may split up the group. Watch the red lights and debris like broken glass and potholes. The ride is swept.
GROUP 3! That's right!
We cruise, then we climb, or not. Your choice. Start ahead of the pack, let em catch you on the way back, or not. G3 puts the fun into the Faden.
Everyone is welcome regardless of ability but please be aware Group 3 ride is intended for new and moderately paced riders. If you are not used to riding safely and closely with others, you will learn it here. Experienced riders may attend and as new riders improve, they go faster so expect some folks who ride group 3 to be quick.
This ride is held year round, even in the dark and even in the cold. LIGHTS ARE REQUIRED! Please wear helmets and clothing appropriate for the temperature.
Look after one another and point out glass or other hazards to riders behind you AT ALL TIMES. If you have a mechanical, flat etc… Please yell "MECHANICAL" so someone can help you.
Everyone, ride safe and we'll see you for the post ride at Seidenfaden's for food and drink.
Return Route takes a right on Kentucky but if you are riding with others you may choose to turn right on Broadway (be aware, Broadway can be busy and cars there travel fast). Take that to Vine Street and turn left, go two blocks and Seidenfaden's is on the left.
