Ride w/ Purpose #9

For our June ride, we’re partnering with Trumbullplex, an anarchist housing collective, art space, and “a vital part of Detroit’s DIY and activist community, providing a welcoming environment for people to connect, share ideas, and combat oppression.” (Source). We’ll be meeting at Trumbullplex between 5 and 6pm. There we’ll  do some work outside in their greenspace, where edible wild plants such as dandelion, nettle, and spearmint are available to collect. Plan to hit the road around 7pm for a 7.5 mile round-trip bike ride. Come ride with us as we learn about the collective’s mission “to create a positive environment for revolutionary change”. Bring your foraging bag and work gloves for this one!
