Carlisle to Cramond beach (Edinburgh), overnight, 100.5 mile, cross-border, summer solstice unsupported bike ride, arriving for sunrise at 4.26am. FREE to enter. A wee social adventure on lovely quiet roads for cycling, unique camaraderie and vibe, with legendary chip shop stop in Moffat, the gentle climb of the Devil's Beef Tub (bagpiper at the top), and 'cyclorave' at the Wee Crook Cafe in Tweedsmuir (DJ Neil). Hot drinks and food served at the Cramond kirk hall at the end to raise money for charity and we give out free Stewart Brewing beer at the seafront at sunrise. 2027 will be the 12th year and we'd expect about 1200-1300 riders. Enter at the website (www.ridetothesun.co.uk/register) but please share far and wide, the more the merrier. Fraser and Gary - www.ridetothesun.co.uk/uploads/feedback-2022.pdf
