Come out to Ride Kanuga this Halloween Eve for a Wicked Good Time. There will be events all day for the entire family! The day will kick off with the 6 Hour Black Cat Relay and end with an adult after party at the Adventure Center. The park is still open to the public during the event. Schedule:
10am-4pm: 6 Hour Black Cat Relay // Registration and race information can be found here.
4:45pm: Race awards and costume contest
5pm: Newground Bunny Hop Contest
7pm-10: A Wicked Good Time adult after party at the Adventure Center.

Information for the 6 Hour Black Cat Relay:
Come to Ride Kanuga on Halloween day to take part in the 6 Hour Black Cat Relay! Whoever gets the most laps in 6 hours, wins! While this is a race, it is also a fun day on the mountain! Costumes are encouraged and we'll be having a costume contest as well.
Early Bird pricing ends on October 15.
Registration ends on October 29 at midnight.

Schedule:
9:00am: Registration at the Ride Kanuga Adventure Center
9:50 am: Riders meeting at the race start
10am: Race start for all categories
4pm: Race is over and riders cannot start a new lap
4:45pm: Race Awards Ceremony
5:00pm: Costume Awards Ceremony
RACE:
The race will utilize a social distanced Le Mans start. The Le Mans start consists of having all the riders line up and run to their bikes to take off on the race course once the whistle is blown. It ensures a safe and exciting method for starting the first group of riders.
Riders complete as many laps as they can in 6 hours. They must use the High Rocks Climbing Trails to ascend the mountain. Once at the top, riders must grab a token to bring back down the mountain to prove their ascent. Riders can descend whichever trail they chose once at the top! The race ends promptly at 4pm, but if a rider takes off on their lap before 4pm, the lap is still valid.
RULES:
Any attempt to take a short-cut off of the designated course will result in the immediate disqualification of that racers entire team.
All racers must conduct themselves in a civilized manner. Use of foul or intimidating language or behavior towards anyone including other racers or volunteers on or off the course will not be tolerated. Any racer found in violation of this rule will be penalized.
Be respectful while passing riders. This is a fun race, not the Olympics.
REFUNDS:
There are no refunds unless the event must be cancelled due to uncontrollable circumstances.
DAY-OF REGISTRATION IS NOT AVAILABLE:
Due to the nature of a relay, on-site registration is not available. You MUST pre-register online. Packet pick starts at 9am at the Adventure Center.
LOCATION & PARKING
The event will take place at 1249 Kanuga Lake Road, Hendersonville, NC 28739. Parking signs are located once you enter the gravel lot.
