Riddim & Blues

Beginning in 2019 as a Soundcloud mix Riddim & Blues set out to create a seamless fusion between Afrobeats, Dancehall, R&B and other sensual yet rhythmic genres of music.

The first Riddim & Blues party, thrown in February of 2020 was met with rave reviews from music lovers and dancers alike as DJ Cousin Mike took party-goers on a 4-hour journey through sound mixing the likes of Afrobeats, Dancehall, R&B and Club Music along with a bevy of remixes and flips.

Swithching to a LIVE-Streaming format 2020 - 2022 DJ Cousin Mike continued to curate the Riddim & Blues sound through exclusive 2-hour recorded sets at Rise Radio in Brooklyn, NY where listeners were able to tune in monthly to get a taste of the sound they'd fallen in love with as well as discover new music.

Returning February 3rd, 2023 to Rise Radio, Riddim & Blues is picking up where it left off in 2020 with a 4-hour set of timeless classics, hidden gems and everything in-between. Tell a friend to tell a friend and come ready to dance.
