Ricotta and Burrata Making Class - LEVEL 1

In our Ricotta and Burrata Class, take your cheese making skills to the next level with an intensive hands-on session.

Mozzarella class or mozzarella making experience is helpful but not required for this class. Already took the Mozzarella & Burrata class? Get more practice working that curd and experiment with new fillings and techniques!

Upon arrival, snack on Tulip Tree treats with a personal cheese tasting plate with local accoutrements. You can’t learn on an empty stomach!

Starting with our fresh pasteurized milk, you'll work in small groups of 2-4 to make a batch of fresh hand-ladled ricotta. During this process we will delve into various recipes and methods to make and use ricotta at home.

Once our ricotta is finished, we will provide you with fresh mozzarella curd for burrata making. Our instructor will demonstrate the art of burrata making, creating a beautiful purse of hand stretched mozzarella filled with cream, curd and fresh ricotta. Then it's your turn! Each participant will make two balls of burrata.

Best of all, you get to take your ricotta and burrata home, with expert tips about how to store and use it.

BYOB (bring your own beverage of choice).

Face masks will be available if needed. Frequent hand washing and sanitizing will also be required.

Children ages 12 and up must be accompanied by an adult.

***Cancellation Policy *** There is a class minimum, and we do not offer refunds.We can reschedule you for free if you let us know up to a week in advance (Eg: end of day the week prior - Thursday end of day for following Thursday class). There will be a $15 re-scheduling fee if you cancel within a week of class and need to be rescheduled. You can have someone take your place for free. If you cancel within 24 hours of class, or if you are a no-show and did not call us and let us know in advance that you could not attend class, we can reschedule you for the 50% of the cost. If you have to cancel last minute and you've given every effort for someone to take your place, but it hasn't been successful, please let us know so we can try to figure something out.
