RICK WALKER: A CELEBRATION 25 years of the Live Looping Festival- 30 years looping live- 50 years as a professional musician 60 years as a drummer- 72 years as a human being.
After a celebrated career performing on stages across the country and around the world it's time for this this wildly creative local artist to look back, in a retrospective of his extremely varied career. Join us in the lovely Seabright garden of the CAYUGA STAGE, for a remarkable solo show by a virtuoso multi-instrumentalist who is always striving to discover new sonic landscapes baser on ancient rhythms.
No refreshments are provided, but guests are encouraged to pack food and libations and make a picnic of it. Come out and show you support for this extraordinary performer and join us for a late afternoon of pure joy and celebration.
Arrive early. This is a house concert in a residential neighborhood, so you may have to park and walk a bit.
Please leave your mascots at home. We love doggies, sharks, and marmosets, but this is an event strictly for humans. NO PETS, PLEASE. No exceptions.
Unfortunately, due to uneven ground and inaccessible toilet facilities, we are unable to make the venue wheelchair accessible, except by advance arrangement.
The artist's SUGGESTED MINIMUM DONATION is $20, but is the policy of the venue that no one is ever turned away for lack of funds.
We need and appreciates volunteers. Please volunteer. Just ask!
