On December 2 in Birmingham, the Alabama Humanities Alliance (AHA) will recognize writer Rick Bragg and humorist Roy Wood Jr. as Alabama Humanities Fellows.This ticketed event in the Jemison Concert Hall at UAB’s Alys Stephens Center will feature an in-depth conversation between two of Alabama’s finest, and funniest, writers and storytellers.
While they utilize different mediums and styles, Bragg and Wood Jr. share something at their core: They are insightful storytellers who challenge us all to think, to empathize, and to explore what it means to be human.
Tickets for this special event are now on sale through Alys Stephens Center’s Box Office. All proceeds benefit AHA’s public humanities programming statewide.
