A fun costume ride, wear a full Santa suit or just hand-me-down mittens and your ugliest Christmas sweater.This ride kicks off the Christmas Season with hot chocolate and iced cookies for all cyclists during pre-ride social hour beginning at 9:30. During the social hour riders can select $15 vouchers off the Elstro Park Fir tree. Vouchers are gifts from several generous businesses. There are lots of restaurant ones!
The ride route is the City Loop and depot District , Downtown, and Old Richmond. We will criss-cross all downtown streets to see the decorations. This ride is sponsored by our friends at Golden Engineering Inc, Centerville IN.
This 2024’s Santa Ride will conclude the Richmond Rose Pedals experiment, an effort to knit a collection of short rides for all levels of ability, age, experience sharing the many neat ways to bike in Richmond. The series is for sale, the Richmond Rose pedals branding and logo, proven routes, themes, poster art and social media banner art. routes. Ending with its very first ride, a Santa themed ride, this is the 9th year for the Santa Ride. Thank you to all. It’s been fun to meet and bike with my neighbors.
