Join Suter Art Gallery curator Dr. Kyla Mackenzie for a special show and tell for art lovers. Learn how concepts of architecture and pictorial construction are evident in the artworks of New Zealand artist John Weeks (1886 – 1965), including The Suter’s African City (c.1950).
This is an opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the artworks and the artist himself, who spent time in the studio of French Cubist artist André Lhote in the 1920s before returning home to teach at Elam Art School in Auckland.
