About this Event

Join us for four unforgettable evenings celebrating Native culture, music, storytelling, and community during the Richfield Residential Hall Native American Week Celebration & Fundraiser.
This annual event honors the traditions and talents of our students while bringing together families, schools, and community members for four nigts of connection and cultural pride. All proceeds support student leadership, wellness, and cultural programs at Richfield Residential Hall.

FOUR NIGHTS OF CULTURE, CONNECTION, AND CELEBRATION

Wednesday, Nov. 19 – Razor Saltboy in Concert
Kick off the week with an inspiring live performance by Razor Saltboy, a Navajo musician known for blending traditional influences with modern country sound and heartfelt storytelling.




Thursday, Nov. 20 – Dr. Darren Parry, Native Storyteller
Gather for an evening of wisdom and perspective with Dr. Darren Parry, who shares stories and teachings that connect history, identity, and Native values.




Friday, Nov. 21 – Cultural Night & Community Dinner
Experience the heart of Native American Week as our Richfield Residential Hall students share traditional dances, songs, and stories. They will be joined by Drum Group: Rez Grass with singers Dusty Jansen and Bryan Jansen, and a captivating Hoop Dance performance by Mya Jansen. Free Navajo Taco Dinner for the first 300 guests!




Saturday, Nov. 22 – Brian Yazzie, Native Magician & Mentalist
Enjoy a one-of-a-kind performance from Brian Yazzie — the only Native magician — as he blends illusion, storytelling, and humor in a show that’s both inspiring and entertaining for all ages.
