Puertorican guitarist Richard Peña intricately blends the traditional sounds of Latin music, the modern colors of post-bop/fusion jazz through the soothing warm sound of his guitar. The 26 year-old has been recognized as a Youth Jazz Ambassador (2015), has recorded 4 albums, has performed with players ranging from Latin Grammy Award Winners such as Miguel Zenón Horacio El Negro Hernandez, and Charlie Sepulveda, to Latin singers Carlos Vives, Víctor Manuelle.
