Detroit get ready for lamb chops to fish & shrimp and the “Best barbeque and soul food this side of the Mississippi” Friday August 7th free until 4:00pm free Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th until 1:00pm $15.00 after Festival hours: 11:30am to 11:30pm all 3 days August 7, 8, 9, 2026 On Sunday, August 9th, chefs from around the country will smoke, grill and season ribs to perfection during the tasty Rib Cook off this year, 15 grillers will compete for the Best Ribs and Best Sauce title. Each winner will receive a 3ft trophy and bragging rights for the best ribs or sauce. Detroit’s most anticipated event of the summer. The Annual Ribs “N” Soul Festival now has a new name Rib’s R&B Music Festival Weekend. Ribs R&B Music Festival Weekend will host thousands of rib lovers who will eat, drink and shop while enjoying the sounds of Platinum and Grammy award winning artists as well national and local recording artists! Our 2026 line up will be amazing all weekend on two stages. On Friday the festivals open at 11:30 am just in time for lunch with drinks and lunch specials. Our main stage will showcase Friday night soul from Detroit artists “FRIDAY OUR MAIN STAGE KICKS OFF THE WEEKEND WITH INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL RECORDING ARTIST FROM OLD SCHOOL FUNK TO POP AND R&B ALONG WITH DETROIT’S HOTTEST NEW ARTISTS. ON FRIDAY DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY WITH THE HOTTEST DJ’S ON THE PLANTED AND DETROIT’S OWN! DJ CHARLES HICKS, DJ HYLYTE, DJ BASE ALL 3 DAYS! PARADISE VALLEY-360 DJ LOUNGE OPENS FRIDAY AT 6:00PM TO 11:30 PM SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 2:00 PM TO 11:30 PM DETROIT LARGEST OUT DOOR DANCE PARTY.
